Several members of the Bonn Water Network contributed to the Handbook of Water Resources Management: Discourses, Concepts and Examples (Springer, 2021). The Handbook aims at facilitating communication and dialogue between actors of the international community involved in water resources management, discourses and multi-level decision-making processes. It provides the reader with facts, theories, methods and practical illustrations from a wide array of disciplines with relevance to water resources management, including hydrology, geology, geophysics, law, ethics, economics, ecology, engineering, sociology, and diplomacy. It also introduces a wealth of cases in varying forms and lengths to highlight success stories and, underline lessons to be remembered. It offers comprehensive and critical material to the numerous communities of actors involved in water resources management who need to better understand each other’s work, views and methods in order to work more efficiently together.
